The National Service Scheme (NSS) aims to develop a sense of social responsibility, discipline, and national integration among students. At S.U. College, Hilsa (Nalanda), the NSS unit strives to inspire students to actively participate in community service and contribute to nation-building while pursuing their education.

Through various activities such as cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, literacy campaigns, health awareness programs, environmental protection, and village development projects, NSS volunteers learn the values of teamwork, leadership, empathy, and selfless service.

The motto “Not Me, But You” reflects the spirit of voluntary service and reminds every student of their duty toward society. NSS at S.U. College, Hilsa, encourages students to be socially sensitive citizens who work for the welfare of others with dedication and sincerity.
